In 2003 our founders identified a gap in the market. Most existing risk management software was expensive and required highly trained and experienced personnel to use it. There appeared to be no easy to use risk management software that was affordable for small to medium-size enterprises.
Risk Reasoning was formed to develop and sell collaborative risk management software at an affordable price and the result was RiskAid. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive range of products and services to help clients easily manage risks throughout their organisations.

Risk Reasoning Ltd has its headquarters in Bath (United Kingdom) and was founded in 2004 by experienced managers and entrepreneurs.
The company is a spin-off from Aspen Enterprises Ltd, a successful consultancy firm.
RiskAid, our first product, was developed with the assistance of a SMART award for innovation from the DTI, to provide risk management software for projects and programmes. RiskAid was introduced in 2004 and continues to provide the underlying methodology and philosophy for all our products.
RiskAid Enterprise was introduced in 2005 to provide the same RiskAid facilities for the hierarchical risk assessments required by larger organisations. As well as projects and programmes, the development of RiskAid Enterprise extended the application of our software into areas such as business continuity, governance and health & safety.
Our software packages are easy to adopt, easy to use and easy to maintain. They comply with today's best practice methodology and all risk and project management standards.
